The Common Eupithecia ''(Eupithecia miserulata)'' is a moth of the family Geometridae. The species can be found in North America, from Ontario and Maine in the north to Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas in the south. It is also found in Arizona and California.〔(The Eupithecia (Lepidoptera, Geometridae) of Mississippi and Louisiana )〕 The wingspan is 12–20 mm. The forewings are greyish to greyish brown. The hindwings are the same colour, but have a small discal spot and a variably represented extradiscal line. The moths flies from March to November depending on the location.
